JR Hind Ltd were involved in burying large sections of pipe – a total length of 1km – in a trench 1m deep. 

We made as minimal impact on the ground as possible with small machine in remote areas and reinstatement so there is no long term impact on the view. 

The hydro power scheme contributes to the National Trust’s aspiration to produce 50% of their energy from renewables. Honister has a world record for the largest amount of rainfall in the UK in 24 hours, definitely a suitable place for a hydro power scheme.
